After a long period of inactivity the Carolinas Cape Dory Fleet is holding its inaugural rendezvous as an essential step to rebuilding the fleet. If you own a Cape Dory or are interested in these legendary boats please join us for a fun and informative gathering. This first rendezvous will be held at the waterfront home of Bill Hewett on Broad Creek off the Neuse River near Oriental North Carolina. While the rendezvous lasts three days the fleet elections, essential business, and presentation will occur on Saturday 1 June 2024.  Tent and small Camper parking is available on Bill's property as well as three guest rooms. There are also hotels and B&Bs in the area. There is sufficient water depth for anchoring off Bill's dock with 360° of protection.  If attending by boat contact Bill Hewett  for navigation and anchoring details.
