Flanders Fish Market and Restaurant
Sat, Jan 25, 2025 at 11:30 AM
The Northeast Fleet of the Cape Dory Sailboat Owners Association (CDSOA) will have its annual winter luncheon at Flanders Fish Market and Restaurant on Saturday, January 25th, 2025 from 11:30 to 3:00.
Dave Roper, the esteemed Points East columnist and author, will be our keynote speaker. He is the author of several great books. Dave has cruised the Maine coast for many years in his Cape Dory 25 named Chang Ho, then in his Independence 31 sloop Elsa Marie, and lastly in his current Cape Dory 25 sloop Vesper. He has been a Cape Dory fan for forty plus years and appreciates the simplicity of a Cape Dory 25. One of the activities he enjoys almost as much as cruising is talking about it and we are very fortunate that Dave and his wife Mary Kay will be with us at our 2025 winter luncheon. I have asked Dave to bring his books to sell and he will bring some.
The rest of the agenda will be a discussion of the Northeast Fleet’s plans for the 2025 season where we will discuss a proposed calendar of events and budget. The concluding activity will be our traditional swap table of boat gear which has been popular for many years.
The cost of this luncheon is $25 per person for CDSOA members and $35 for others. Registration/payment can be made via the CDSOA website.
If you want to pay with a credit or debit card, please do so using the PayPal option. You will not be charged any extra to use this option. You can also pay at the event with cash or a check. Please understand that you are responsible for this payment if you register for this event and do not attend. Please do not mail a check for this event to the CDSOA treasurer.
